In early February, Khan Academy Tieng Viet and two international representatives of Khan Academy were honored to have the opportunity to share experiences in the application of educational technology (Edtech) in schools in Vietnam. Khan Academy Tieng Viet introduced to the National Foreign Languages Project Board the concept and operation of the Open School model. The Vice Director of the Dong Nai Department of Education and Training also took part in the sharing session.

Mr. Pham Duc Trung Kien – President of The Vietnam Foundation – the official and only advocate of Khan Academy in Vietnam shared that Khan Academy Tieng Viet would be similar to a “highway” to help Vietnamese students confidently integrate globally and study in parallel languages between Vietnamese and English.

National and international experts in the education sector discussed the effective application of educational technology, the forming of the learning society, and the enhancement in the National Education Program.
