Programs for the Visually Impaired
In over 20 years, with the Sunflower Scholarship, Audiobook Library, Anh Sen Scholarship, Laptop 360 Program, and other programs, VNF has and will continue to provide hundreds of visually impaired students in Vietnam with the opportunity to pursue education and to rise in life. Many have achieved success as educators, entrepreneurs, community organization leaders, or local officials. They are outstanding examples of how education can transform our lives.
Vietnam Open Educational Resources Program
Launched in 2014, VOER is a free, open, and high-quality educational resource created by Vietnamese people for Vietnamese people. The program has accumulated 22,280 documents and 525 collections contributed by 13,484 authors. VOER allows millions of students to access high-quality learning materials by providing a variety of categories and the ability to download documents in pdf format. Furthermore, VOER has been promoting Vietnamese history, literature, and culture worldwide through its global user base.
Khan Academy Vietnam Program
KAV is the outcome of strategic cooperation between VNF and Khan Academy. Its objective is to support millions of Vietnamese learners to study actively and effectively on the Khan Academy platform. KAV offers two models: KAV Open School and KAV Open Classroom. Working with schools, teachers, students, and parents nationwide, VNF aims to take full advantage of free reputable learning materials available on Khan Academy, contributing to the digital transformation of education and building a learning society.
