Charity visit to Nguyen Nga Center in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh

On the occasion of the Pre-departure Orientation (PDO) for the 2017 Fellows of the VEF 2.0 Program (one of the major programs of the Vietnam Foundation) held in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam from June 7 – 10, 2017, the VNF organized a charity visit to Nguyen Nga Center to award the 360 Machines to 20 visually-impaired people.

The 360 Machine is an innovative laptop without a screen, designed by us for blind users, but has an option for sighted users via a connector cable to a typical TV screen. We also provided further support by training a dedicated IT teacher, who is based at the center to help the visually-impaired people to use the 360 Machines, to ensure the efficient and sustainable use.
