Based in Silicon Valley, Atsuko has advised Japanese corporations, Silicon Valley startups and German startups for the past 20 years as a business strategy consultant. As a founder of Japan Accelerator in Silicon Valley, Atsuko is connecting Japanese corporations and technology startups from around the world to promote commercial and technological partnerships as well as strategic alliances through equity investments.
In addition, Atsuko oversees and directs development and implementation of corporate innovation initiatives, new business development acceleration and global talent training programs for Japanese corporations. These programs are specifically designed for Japanese corporations’ executives, Silicon Valley expats, and their future executive candidates. Since the inception of the program in 2019, Japan Accelerator has trained total of approximately 400 Japanese business professionals and executives.

Atsuko earned MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and BA in International Relations from Tsuda University.
